Within the "Save the Mura" campaign WWF and Moja Mura cordially invite you to a joint movie night for the Mura River. The free-flowing Mura in Slovenia and along the border to Austria, within the planned 5-country Biosphere Reserve "Mura-Drava-Danube", is under threat from eight planned hydroelectric power dams. The decision regarding the construction of the first power dam at Hrastje-Mota is expected to be taken soon by the Slovenian government. This dam is considered the "door-opener" for the seven other planned hydropower dams – so this must be prevented with all power!

Next to the "Friends of the Mura" from Slovenia, participants from the three neighboring countries - Austria, Croatia and Hungary - will join forces at the movie night in order to face the upcoming challenge to "Save the Mura". In addition to the presentation of movies, the evening will be inspired by supporting statements of “Mura-ambassadors” from all four countries. Furthermore, the evening will be rounded off by music, cuisine, drinks and a casual get-together.
