On 21 September 2025, Public Institution for the management of protected parts of nature and the ecological network of Virovitica-Podravina County (JU VP) organised the 2nd Drava Day to celebrate the International Drava Day (23 September). Throughout the day participants had the opportunity to learn about the project LIFE RESTORE for MDD, protected parts of the nature and also experience the River Drava and its biodiversity first hand from the canoes. After the introductory words from Tatjana Arnold Sabo and the Major of Municipality Sopje Berislav Androš on the shore of the River Drava participants started to board the canoes. The canoe ride was 8 km long, started from the river shore of the Municipality Sopje and ended at the Municipality Čađavica. After the canoe ride, the gather
ing continued in the Visitor Centre ‘The Drava Story’.
