On August, 6th to 8th, in Noskovci, Čađavica Municipality, at the visitor center The Drava Story, JU VP organised 1st Young Ranger Camp with 32 children. Throughout the camp kids had the opportunity to learn about nature, Biosphere Reserve Mura – Drava – Danube, rangers work and also had field trips and the opportunity to visit various locations of nature in Virovitica Podravina County. They had fun, educational and sports activities such as arts and crafts workshops, horse riding, bike tour, survival workshop with Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (CMRS) and many other educational presentations. We also visited project site Orlovo selište and held presentation about river arm restauration. At the end of camp, every child got a diploma and gifts.

We had so much fun and can’t wait for the next generation of young rangers!
